Socialismo e barbarie

Socialismo e barbarie is the second album of the Italian music group CCCP – Fedeli alla linea, published in 1987.

The title of the album is a paraphrase of the slogan Socialismo e barbarie, used by Rosa Luxemburg in her 1915 booklet Juniusbroschüre, indicating as the only possible resolution for society, precisely the socialism or the barbarism. The cover itself depicts the assembly line of the Fiat 124, a car that was widely produced under license from 1970 to 2012 in several Soviet countries, initially in the city of Togliatti, while the group’s logo refers to the Fiat logo used on cars until the early 1970s.
