Appunti da un viaggio immaginario is a long story, a chain of narratives, images, reflections that Lassociazione – an ensemble perhaps not known as it deserves – organized in a very well done and articulated work. Composed of a record, recorded live in early 2015 on the occasion of a concert tour in theaters, and a video documentary. In the lineup there are thirteen songs, all sharing an interesting tension, a full and deep sound (“Sedici”), traceable to the live and, probably, to the project to release them in a new album. Project that engaged the authors to reorganize the material of the previous three albums (released between 2010 and 2014), which were selected for a new way, a new integrated narrative, for the occasion, with some unreleased.
