Ligabue is the first studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Luciano Ligabue, released in 1990 by Warner Music Italy.
Instrumentalists Feiez and Antonello Aguzzi, both members at different times of the group Elio e le Storie Tese, collaborate on the album. More precisely, the aforementioned Feiez, also curator of recording and mixing, will be replaced in the Elii in 1999 by Aguzzi, who will assume the pseudonym Jantoman for the occasion. In addition, Claudio Dentes, an uncredited musician on Ligabue’s record, is the producer of the Milanese group’s first album (Elio Samaga Hukapan Kariyana Turu), which was recorded almost simultaneously in another room at the same Psycho studios in Milan.
A remastered CD edition was released in 2008 (Warner Music Italy catalog 518 6 51647 5). On May 4, 2010, to celebrate 20 years since the album’s release, the barMario fan club, in cooperation with Warner, also released this version on vinyl LP with a limited run of 500 copies, which sold out in 24 hours.
