Made in Italy is the 11th studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Luciano Ligabue, released on November 18, 2016 by Zoo Aperto.
Moved up in September by the single G come giungla, it is the first concept album in the artist’s career, who explained in an interview granted to Corriere della Sera that the album is “a frustrated declaration of love for this country told through the story of a character.”
As told by the songwriter himself in an interview, the album tells the story of Riko, a man who finds himself at a time in his life when not all things are going well, but as the album continues we discover how he manages to get his life back on track. On November 11, the second extract Made in Italy was released, while on January 20, 2017, the third extract È venerdì, non mi rompete i coglioni was released.
