Sciopero dei musicisti
“Sciopero dei musicisti” is an album of 2009 of the folk band “L’Usignolo – concerto a fiato”.
After the great success made by Di Buon Mattino of 2007, L’Usignolo returns with a new record Sciopero Dei Musicisti, published by Tacadancer in which there are fifteen tracks of great intensity in which they retrace the tracks of Barco’s Concerto a Fiato. During the listening one is literally pervaded by the beauty and elegance of these tracks, among which Focosa, Brunello, Rocco and especially the splendid Ballando con Marianna stands out, in which the excellent interplay between the various wind instruments sparkles. The one of L’Usignolo is another winning choice of Tacadancer, which is gradually developing a path of high musicological profile, aimed to shed new light on the dance music of Emilia Romagna, a tradition too often debased by the tired and immobile ballroom orchestras that populate satellite channels, but which instead hides a great depth and importance equal to the Irish or Salento dances.
