Sicilian by birth, but emilian by adoption, since her childhood Antonella knows her passion: sing on the stage.

At 16 years old she forms her first band (the Blossoms), for whom she is performer and songwriter. Later she is a member of Shadow Zone, with whom she opens Elisa’s concert at the Arena of Verona and in Pesaro in 2008.

2012 is the turning point: she is a finalist in the fifth edition of X Factor. Antonella was considered the moral winner of the edition (in which she ranked third) in the course of which she collected positive comments from all the judges in each episode: technique, grit, charisma, personality and voice are the qualities that are unanimously recognized to her.

In January, his first album entitled Cuore scoppiato (2012 gold record in the digital download chart) was released by Sony Music, collecting some of the songs presented at X Factor, including the unreleased song written by Luca Marino that gives the EP its title. The video clip of Cuore Scoppiato was directed by Cosimo Alemà, already director of many Italian video clips (Renato Zero, Fabri Fibra, Sergio Cammariere, Delta V).

In addition to the live activity that followed the release of the first album (in addition to concerts, we recall the Star Zone Live Tour 2012, promoted by Esselunga in collaboration with Sony Music: 12 live dates throughout Italy in which she performed alongside Pooh, Giusy Ferreri, and Pierdavide Carone), she participated in several TV shows (including Non sparate sul pianista, Rai 1; ‘Sto Classico!, Italia Uno; Radio Italia Live, Video Italia) that made her known to the general public.
