Bermuda Acoustic Trio EN

I Bermuda Acoustic Trio are an Italian musical band originally created by Giorgio Buttazzo (guitar and voice),Gabriele Monti (guitar and voice) “Kamsin” Giordano Urzino (double bass, electric bass and voice).

The birth of the group happened by chance in 1995, during the sound check of an acoustic concert of singer-songwriter Pierangelo Bertoli, accompanied by Giorgio Buttazzo and Gabriele Monti; the rehearsal aroused such appreciation among the audience that the two, who were joined by the bassist “Kamsin” Giordano Urzino, began playing almost every night. Their repertoire is a container where you can find every musical genre from pop to rock, jazz, blues and even classical in a show that unfolds seamlessly and in which the high degree of improvisation makes each concert different from the previous one.

Since 2009 the latter has been replaced by Andrea “Atto” Alessi, due to serious health problems, which led to his untimely death at the end of the same year. Since September 2012 the lineup has included Giorgio Buttazzo (guitar and voice),Andrea “Atto” Alessi (bass and voice), Luciana Buttazzo (voice) and Lele Veronesi (drums and percussion).

In 2019, they boast more than 4500 concerts in Italy and abroad and 55,000 CDs sold in their shows, without any record contract.

On April 19, 2019, at the age of 60, Gabriele (Lele) Monti passed away due to a sudden illness.

In an interview Giorgio Buttazzo expresses the possibility of “Closing the Bermuda experience”.
