Julie’s Haircut is an Italian rock band from the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Early years (1994 -1998)

Julie’s Haircut was born in 1994 in Sassuolo, in the province of Modena, initially under the first formation of three elements: Nicola Caleffi, guitar and voice; Luca Giovanardi, drums and vocals; Laura Storchi, bass and vocals. For most of the mid-90s, the band recorded several demos and took part in many live performances of the locals in their area. In 1995, Luca Giovanardi became the band’s second guitarist, with Giancarlo Frigieri on drums, two years later replaced by Roberto Morselli. In 1998 the band signed a contract with the Bologna label GammaPop Records.
